Genesys Mixer Synthesis quickly explores a variety of practical, working mixer circuits, so that RF circuit and system designers of all skill levels can start with a working topology, tuned to their frequency plan. Other Genesys features can then be used to extend the mixer performance, consider new approaches, and make the design more manufacturable.

Genesys Mixer Synthesis is best used in conjunction with the Harbec simulator. It is a series of series of application templates that provides a good starting point for 11 different mixer topologies. Designers use the synthesis results as the basis for real designs using commercial devices, substrates, and physical model sets. Mixer Synthesis also makes a good technology evaluation tool, demonstrating the strengths and weaknesses of various mixer topologies with regard to conversion gain, image rejection, and other performance parameters.

• The W1511L Genesys Mixer Synthesis module can be easily added to any particular Genesys environment or license key that is current on maintenance.
• It is included in the Genesys Designer Pro, and Genesys Integrated bundles
• It is included in the Genesys Synthesis for ADS and Genesys RF Architect for ADS bundles, but Genesys Oscillator Synthesis was also included in several older Genesys configurations, which your company may already own. (W1412, W1413, W1414). Refer to the Bundle Viewer for more details.
