Radar Application Guide

The Radar Application Guide provides a collection of examples demonstrating the use of Advanced Design System (ADS) to simulate a portion of a radar receiver.

These examples include simulation of an LFM radar to achieve pulse compression, FM-Modulated radar, Monopulse radar receiver simulation, and IFM system simulation.

Installation

The Radar Application Guide is a selection option on the Installation Shield of the ADS CD. Once installed, it is accessed from the schematic page under the "DesignGuide" menu.

For ADS 2003A and later releases, the Radar Application Guide is installed automatically when the examples in the ../examples/Com_Sys directory are installed.

For ADS 2002A or ADS 2002C, the Radar Application Guide can be installed from the ADS main window. Choose the menu command > DesignGuide > Add Global DesignGuide.

Then click on Browse and select Radar.deb from /examples/Com_Sys/Radar_Applications_prj/debian.
