Agilent EEsof EDA University Donation Program

There is no better way for students to prepare for the real world than building skills that will be in demand wherever their talent and interests lead. That is one of the many reasons why Agilent EEsof EDA has supported Universities worldwide for almost twenty years with programs that make our products easy to integrate into engineering studies.

Agilent EEsof EDA products available under the program include Advanced Design System RF EDA software, RF Design Environment, IC-CAP device modeling software and systems, Momentum, Electromagnetic Design System, Genesys, SystemVue, and GoldenGate.

As a student, your route to building skills with Agilent EEsof products begins with your professor - who can contact the local Agilent EEsof Field Engineer and participate in our Academic Licensing program at nominal cost to the University.

Professors and Department Level Administrators can obtain further information on our Agilent EEsof University Alliance program, tiered partnerships, and additional information through the local Agilent EEsof Field Engineer.

Program at a Glance

Our program has several features that enable classroom instruction and projects at various levels in university settings:

  • Each product family is the complete commercial product, fully maintained and supported just as our regular commercial customers. We do not provide "stripped down" limited versions for the classroom.
  • Individual professors or departments can request as many licenses as they need to insure that each student has full access to Agilent EEsof software for ADS+EMDS, RFDE, IC-CAP and Eagleware. Our academic license donation program is not restricted to a fixed number of seats, but can be flexibly adjusted to add licenses within a product family at no charge.*
  • Agilent EEsof products are appropriate for all academic levels. Lab Fundamentals and introductory courses fit well with the Eagleware product family at undergraduate levels. Senior level courses can be taught with ADS via templates or reference to the large example library that ships with ADS. Graduate level courses or focused applications can involve RFDE, EMDS, IC-CAP or Golden Gate.
