It’s easy to find out if your University can qualify for our Agilent EEsof Donation Program: Just contact your local Field Engineer and request the University Donation Application, and be prepared to share some plans on how Agilent EEsof products will be used in your classroom and RF/Microwave program.
An Easy Donation process
Your local Agilent EEsof Field engineer - acting as your official sponsor into the donation program - will probably have some questions for you. Then, one of our regional specialists will help to get things rolling with a copy of the University Donation Questionnaire that will form the basis of our donation agreement.
The University Donation Questionnaire helps Agilent EEsof align with your academic and student program and insures that the donation matches your program needs. If you are able to gather some details before you submit the formal application, the donation process will move smoothly.
Learning More about Your Academic Program
We’re very interested in learning more about your Microwave/RF Engineering/Communication Systems Design Curriculum. A brief description of the courses that you offer at the undergrad and graduate level and an estimate of the average class size for each course is all that is required. Copies of course outlines or the short description as listed in your university catalog are sufficient.
Administrative Details
In addition to a short description of the available hardware and the normal university contact details (phone, fax and email), you will also be asked to identify the Academic Computing or Department IT contact who will act as the license administrator for the donations.
If IC-CAP is included in your donation request, a list of the available test hardware is also needed so that we can insure that your setup is complete.
Academic donations for most of our product families also request that you identify department, student and professor web sites that will be used to report on student projects and use of our donated products and give us permission to link to those sites for promotion or newsletter purposes.
Your University May Qualify
Agilent EEsof's program for classroom use of our products in Higher Education has expanded to include major additions to donation product families.
Our donation program features fully operational versions of our commercial products and is available to qualifying institutions offering academic instruction in RF and Communications System design, Electromagnetic Analysis, Signal Integrity, and Device Modeling.
Agilent EEsof EDA products available under the program include Advanced Design System RF EDA software, RF Design Environment, IC-CAP device modeling software, Momentum, Electromagnetic Design System, Genesys, SystemVue, and GoldenGate.
If a section adds students, additional licenses are no problem. We offer professors in the Agilent EEsof University Academic Donation Program as many licenses as they might need for the entire class or laboratory facility at no additional charge * in a supported Donation Product Family.
