  • Equation and script editor, with line numbers, matrix, string, Boolean, and multi-dimensional operations, dozens of new measurement functions, IFFT, FFT, derivative, integral functions and much more.   • Several new statistical distributions; can store distributions on the parts themselves.
  • Yield optimization, and additional Optimizers. Faster optimizer convergence, translucent "goal" areas/limits on graphs.

W1410L Genesys Linear Simulation

  • Many microstrip and other physical models have incorporated ADS accuracy enhancements.
  • Additional vendor library support, such as Hittite mixers, ON Semi, Linear Technologies.
  • One-click add to Tune, units support, auto-calc for more analysis types.
  • All simulation parameters can be equation based.

  • Better DC interpolation.

W1610L Momentum GX

  • Momentum GX simulator product did not exist in 2003.10.
  • High-performance Planar-3D EM simulator solves problems unapproachable with Empower.
  • Overcomes many Empower limitations with ~10x speed, higher capacity, conformal meshing, open/closed boundaries, quasi-static and full-wave modes, adaptive frequency sweep, superior modeling of loss / DC / vias / thickness / slots, and much wider variety of EM port types.
  • Preserves the easy Use Model of Empower and co-simulation with other simulators.

W1602L Harbec (and DC analysis)

  • Improved speed, convergence on internal nonlinear models due to native Verilog-A model support.
  • 17 modern nonlinear models enabled, such as BSIM4, TOM3, MEXTRAM, and more.
  • Models added for Varistors, NLRES, NLCAP.
  • Additional HB convergence options and reduction algorithms.
  • Nonlinear noise analysis.
  • Phase noise analysis for oscillators.

  • Cayenne simulator product did not exist in 2003.10 - time-domain, SPICE with convolution.

  • New voltage-based nonlinear amplifier and mixer models and measurements, for IC architectures.
  • Now over 100 measurements, such as Compression, IP3 by stage, group delay, and more.
  • Ability to turn off low-level spectral terms for speed and memory, ability to not-save internal node values for smaller files; 3 years of fixes and speed-ups.
  • Advanced treatment of noise, including phase noise and multiplier SSB noise.
  • New Path-specific channel frequencies, path segments, specify paths using components names and net names, dynamic switch support, graph and display sweeps of path measurements.
  • Many new models, such as A/D converters, IMT mixers, mixer reverse-isolation parameters.
  • New sources, white noise source, user-defined spectrum "dataset" source, multi-source, LO's with harmonics and phase noise, pre-defined wireless format sources.
  • Supports groups of "coherent" sources (for example, phase-locked LO sources of a multiplied reference).

  • Improved settings, units, autoscaling.
