Wireline Applications

Designers of photonic/wireline systems can use E9008A High Speed Analog Designer to characterize these circuits in the Advanced Design System (ADS) environment.

Typical high-speed electro-optical designs consist of a combination of digital blocks such as multiplexers and demultiplexers, and analog blocks such as laser drivers, modulator drivers, travelling wave amplifiers, trans-impedance amplifiers, limiting amplifiers, clock recovery circuits, and so on.

Additional design support is provided by a growing number of examples and training classes, and by Agilent EEsof EDA technical support.
