Agilent EEsof EDA Applications: Oscillators

Oscillators

Designers of oscillators can use harmonic balance simulation in Advanced Design System (ADS) to characterize the steady-state performance and phase noise in oscillator designs. Start-up transients can be characterized using Circuit Envelope simulation in ADS. This is a much faster simulation technique than traditional SPICE simulations.

Additional design support is provided by a growing number of examples and training classes, and by Agilent EEsof EDA technical support.
