Aerospace Defense

Designers of Aerospace Defense applications can use various tools in Advanced Design System (ADS) at both the circuit level and the system level. The variety of simulation technologies available in ADS enables designers to complete the design from concept to a final product with ease. With ADS, RF budgets such as noise budgets, gain budgets, and IP3 budgets can also be analyzed.

Additional design support is provided by a growing number of examples, training classes, and by Agilent EEsof EDA technical support.

Application Guides are available without charge to all ADS customers with current upgrade and support contracts. Installed at the same time as the software is installed, Application Guides offer examples, test templates, and components for various types of design.

Radar Applications Guide.   This Application Guide shows the capability of Advanced Design System to simulate pulse compression simulation in a radar system and to simulate an IFM receiver for EW application.

Connected Solutions.   Connected Solutions refers to the integration of Agilent's EDA Software (ADS) and Agilent instrumentation into a solution that enables new design and verification capabilities. It combines simulation and measurement, and allows the sharing of signals, measurements, algorithms, and data in both directions between the two domains.
